Benefit and Tax Credit Calculations - Level 2
This course provides an opportunity for advisers to practice the calculation of means-tested benefits and tax credits and is designed for people whose work involves going further than just identifying potential entitlement to benefit. Tutor in-put will be limited mainly to providing a basic overview of the principles of means-testing for Jobseekers Allowance (income based), Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance (income-based), Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Pension Credit and Tax Credit. The majority of the learning will be based on practicing calculations.
