THE PROJECT
This project aims to provide a welfare benefits advice service to Carer’s of working age (18 - 60) in Teignbridge, North Devon and Exeter. This advice service is coordinated by Devon County Council and Devon Welfare Rights Unit (Citizens Advice)
The service is available to those aged 18 – 60 living in Exeter, Teignbridge and North Devon who provide care for someone with additional needs, a long-term illness or disability.
The service offers an initial entitlement check by telephone with a specialist adviser and follow-up home appointments to assist with the completion of claim forms and appeals.
