How to use the guide

• Go to the A B C Which Circumstances boxes and read through them in order, identifying the circumstances that apply to you. Be aware that more than one set of circumstances may apply. Then click on the appropriate links.
• Read the Introduction to the section you are in before looking at the individual benefit.
• Identify the relevant benefit(s) from the Which Benefit box and click on the link(s).
• For details of who to contact to make a claim and for advice agencies which also provide help with forms, go to the Contacts lists.

Remember to go back to the A B C Which Circumstances boxes to make sure you have not missed anything. People are often entitled to more than one benefit.
