Welfare Benefits Training

Devon Welfare Rights Unit provides a programme of training courses on benefits and tax credits.

Places on these courses are open to people working in statutory and not-for-profit sectors and the commercial sector whose clients are resident in the Devon County Council area. Spare places on courses can be offered to staff outside the Devon County Council area. Please contact if you wish to know more.

We particularly welcome representatives of Devon's black and ethnic communities.

Objectives common to all courses are to:

The courses are a mixture of information supplied by the tutor, practical case studies and general discussion and we hope to encourage as much participation as possible.

Our courses are Law Society accredited and carry Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Should you wish to apply for this please contact Llinos Davies on 01392 223827.
